I want to get Super Mario 64 DS because it looks like it will be entertaining me for hours, and it looks much longer than New Super Mario Bros, but I was about how many hours it will take to beat the whole game. How many hours will it take if you play minimalistic-ly, how many hours if you go for all the Stars, and how many hours if you play to unlock everything, and collect everything (hidden stars, coins, mini-games, etc.) How good is the replay value? And about how long did it take you to play?

Hours of fun!! I got it for XMAS the year the DS came out and it was great!! It has sooooo many extras compared to the original, and you can take it everywhere! Not only that, but it has alot of post-story fun as well!! Hope I helped =)

There isn't any general time for any game it just depends on how fast you can complete it, how much help you get, are you getting and other optional items, are you cheating. all this makes it harder to judge the time playing the game.
