Websites where people can discuss antiques?

Postby jules13 » Wed Feb 01, 2012 7:56 am

my dad owns a bisque porcelain figurine and i have taken some photos of it and would like to to submit these onto the net and possibly get some feedback on them eg. an id of the figure and maybe when it was made. are there any websites that will allow me to do this. i don't need expert valuation and would expect to pay for this but maybe just other people who know something and could tell me their opinion of it. thanks for the help.

Skinner Auction House offers free auction evaluations (with no obligation to consign). You'd have to wait a few weeks for an answer, but an expert would look at your piece and let you know if it's of interest. Here is the online form:

Good luck!
