WHAT TO GET MY FAMILY AND FRIEND FOR X-MAS!?!??!?

Postby osmarr » Tue Feb 28, 2012 8:31 pm

I want to start Christmas shopping even if is a little early. I am being really generous on gifts this year, and I have like 3-4 people to shop for. I will give you the person relationship to me and write a little bit about them. Then you the kind person answering this will say where to shop and what to get for each person. There will be 2 categories, general present and stocking stuffers. Thanks a bunch ! :)
1) Mom
She has enough clothes. I am thinking of a bottle of perfume but that’s under question. She doesn’t garden or collect anything. I really wanted to get her a cuisinart stand mixer for 2 years now, but that thing is huge. So if you know where to get something like it, but smaller, it would be great. For the stocking stuffer, I would go to Victoria secret and sephora.
2) Grama
She loves flowers to plant in her apt. so a store that sells flowers and pretty pots would be awesome. Her fave sent is from Victoria secret- amber romance, so I was thinking a set of lotion cream and body mist. Lets see also she loves vintage clothing, and as weird as it sounds, some of her clothes are from mandees :)

3) Miran – my best friend
She used to be really shy and quiet but thanks to be she is loud and crazy (in a good way) we live in the same building, and lets see we are both Russians, she is just like a second me- we do everything together. Umm obv. Something from V.s (fave store, and not only for her :)) clothes and gift cards to clothing stores are not an option, and no jewelry.

So that’s it thanks for your time :)
SORRY I DONT KNOW WHAT CATEGORY IT WAS IN!

I wish i can help u with information about the Cuisinart Stand Mixer but i think Perfume would be a good idea. I bet she will love it.

Flowers would be a nice idea for your Grandma

& for your friend how about a simple Christmas/Holiday Card? It's simple & people love them.

Hope i was able to help.

WHAT TO GET MY FAMILY AND FRIEND FOR X-MAS!?!??!?

Hey girl !!!
It's never too early to start Christmas shopping for your family !!!
Luckily it's November now, so most of the stores should have their Christmas items out !!!
Here's what I've got my mum, Grammar and best friend for Christmas -->

Mum - Well, my Mum is kind of similar to yours, she doesn't need any clothes, and doesn't really care about gardening or anything. My mum does like cooking, but I've got mine a pack of rose soap that I found In T K m a x ?? Lol !!! The soap was just a one off, but it was only a six pound or something, so I bought it !!! There are different ones, but this one is so pretty, the box is pink and it has fancy writing and pictures of roses on it too, and the soap smells so nice :) Anyway, back to your question.

Grammar - Well, Mine loves Turkish Delight and lavender, so I've got her a jumbo bar of Turkish Delight, and some Lavender swirl joss sticks, ( which she also loves ! ) As you say, your grammar likes Amber Romance, by Victoria secret, so get her the bath/shower set. My grammar also kinda collects shower caps ( cute he he ! ) so I've bought her one that looks like a strawberry !

Best friend - Go to a craft store and buy a cheap, wooden picture frame, and then buy some glitter/glue and pompoms, ( or use some if you already have it ) and stick them to the picture frame, you could also write " best friends " in glitter glue, and then put a picture of you and your friend inside it. Or you could get a bag she likes from her favourite store, and fill it with her favourite things, like for example, chocolate, a brand new t shirt, some shoes she was admiring last week. If she really is your best friend, then she wont mind whether its bought or made, because best friends are just kind like that !!! Remember ---> its the thought that counts !

It's nice to know that I'm not the only one shopping early for Christmas !!! And no probs about reading your question !!! Thanks for taking the time to read my answer x Benny ( Bethany )
